Position: Senior Power BI Developer
Work hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Australian Time Zone
Compensation range: AUD3,000 - AUD3,500/month

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to design and deliver robust data models, dashboards, and reports.  This position is technical and execution-focused, requiring deep expertise in Power BI development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models from structured data warehouses.
  
• Implement advanced DAX functions, measures, and time-series calculations, etc.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean, structured data pipelines.
• Support business analysts and consultants by delivering high-quality technical outputs.
• Optimise dashboards for usability, performance, and self-service analytics.

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in retail, manufacturing, financial services, or similar data-rich industries, with 3–5+ years in Power BI.
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, DAX, data modelling, drill-throughs, and row-level security.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data grain, and dimensional modelling.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, producing clean, optimised BI solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Experience in enterprise reporting environments.
• Familiarity with UAT and performance tuning.
