Compensation range: AUD 3,000 / month - AUD 4,000 / month

About the role
We’re looking for a talented Senior E-commerce/CRO UX/Web Designer to join our client's in-house creative team and take ownership of designing high-impact digital experiences across all brands. This role directly shapes the customer journey, improves conversion rates, and delivers visually engaging assets across multiple platforms.
You’ll work with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma to create intuitive user journeys, seamless flows, eye-catching layouts, and engaging animations. If you’re a creative problem-solver with a strong grasp of e-commerce UX and design, this role will give you both autonomy and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Research: Conduct user experience research and implement CRO.
- Data Review and Analysis: Review data and analyse which items or sections on the webstore need to be optimised.
- Enhance User Experience: Map user journeys, identify friction points, and design solutions that improve usability and conversion.
- Design Creative Campaigns: Concept and propose engaging and converting creative campaign materials.
- Deliver Creative Assets: Design of campaign assets, logos, home page takeovers, banners, social posts, etc. to deliver campaign goals.
- Design for All Devices: Create responsive layouts and visuals optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences.
- Develop UX Concepts: Propose & create wireframes and design concepts to address UX challenges, ready to implement for developers.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all assets align with brand guidelines across platforms.
- Test & Optimise: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and track creative asset performance.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the creative team, marketing, and tech teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of UX and web design experience in the e-commerce industry.
- Strong visual design skills with creativity for web banners, layouts, and digital campaigns (EDMs, Social Media).
- Good understanding of CRO.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma (motion/animation skills a plus).
- Understanding of responsive design principles across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Analytical mindset comfortable using metrics and funnels to inform design decisions.
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve UX issues.
- Experience with GA4 and Looker Studio.
