About our client
Our client is a startup AI-first technology company that builds and deploys intelligent voice agents for automotive dealerships, transforming customer communications across service, sales, and support. The business is scaling rapidly, with thousands of AI-driven calls daily across partner dealerships.
About the role
As an AI Agent Specialist, you will work closely with the engineering and client success teams to configure, test, and optimise AI voice agents used by car dealerships. Your core responsibility is to analyse performance, troubleshoot workflows, and refine prompts to improve how AI agents interact with customers.
You’ll spend most of your time working inside GoHighLevel (GHL) — adjusting automations, creating and maintaining workflows, and using data insights to enhance AI behavior. This role blends no-code development, AI prompt optimisation, and workflow troubleshooting, making it ideal for someone who loves both automation and creative problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimise AI agent performance through call logs, emails, and user feedback.
- Refine prompts and AI logic to improve customer experience and reduce response errors.
- Configure and maintain workflows in GoHighLevel, ensuring automations (SMS, email, CRM actions) run smoothly.
- Troubleshoot workflow or AI output issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
- Collaborate with the internal team to incorporate dealership feedback and continuously improve agent accuracy and tone.
- Review test calls and apply nuanced improvements (e.g., voice phrasing, numeric outputs, intent handling).
- Reference past builds and successful implementations to apply best practices across agents.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in low-code or no-code automation, such as GoHighLevel, Zapier, Make.com, or similar tools, preferably from automotive, tech, or SaaS industries.
- Highly proficient in GoHighLevel (workflow building, triggers, SMS/email automations).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging mindset — able to interpret call logs, outputs, and prompt logic to identify and correct issues.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose problems, uncover underlying causes, and implement long-term fixes.
- Baseline AI knowledge - understanding prompts or chatbot logic (experience with ChatGPT, VoiceFlow, BotPress, etc. is a plus).
- Strong understanding of API integrations, webhooks, and basic JSON structures.
- Basic Python or JavaScript experience for troubleshooting or expanding integrations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and curious — loves experimenting and learning new tools.
- Startup mindset — comfortable working in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
