About the role
As the Senior Paid Media Specialist, you’ll take ownership of paid campaign execution across Google and Meta platforms, with a strong emphasis on performance, optimisation, and traffic acquisition. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, works independently, and enjoys diving into data. You’ll work closely with the internal team to test ideas, implement learnings, and scale what works, all while speaking to the target audiences.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on strategy, launch, and manage paid campaigns end-to-end across Google and Meta Ads, with opportunities to expand into TikTok, Youtube, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
- Focus on prospecting campaigns aimed at driving traffic and acquiring new customers.
- Optimise campaigns to drive efficient customer acquisition and improve overall Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER).
- Run A/B and hypothesis-driven tests across ad sets, landing pages, and creative angles, and report back on performance.
- Contribute to budgeting and digital spend forecasting based on campaign performance metrics.
- Use Google Sheets, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics to track results and support fortnightly townhall reporting.
- Collaborate with the internal team via Slack, with daily check-ins and availability for occasional video calls.
- Track performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
- Apply insights from Skool by testing new ideas and strategies on a weekly basis.
- Provide input on content needs by briefing the Content Manager and supporting a well-thought-out advertising flywheel.
- Bring a creative flair when suggesting testing ideas or collaborating on campaign direction.
- Report on KPIs including CTR, CPC, ROI, conversion rate, and customer acquisition cost.
- Support broader marketing reporting as needed (e.g. SEO performance, private event leads, etc).
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer behaviour, industry trends, and a commitment to continuous learning and experimentation.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of proven experience managing paid campaigns on both Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Proficient in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, and Slack.
- Familiarity with YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok Ads.
- Demonstrated experience managing prospecting campaigns aimed at new customer acquisition.
- Comfortable managing significant monthly ad budgets across multiple platforms, with the ability to scale based on performance.
- Strong analytical mindset with a clear understanding of how to make data-led decisions.
- Skilled in targeting and converting audiences through platform-native messaging and performance-led creative.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable troubleshooting without close supervision.
- Adaptable and quick to learn in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.
