Our client, a small performance-based marketing agency in Melbourne, is looking for a Paid Media Specialist who is passionate about driving exceptional results. They collaborate with a range of exciting Australian eCommerce, SaaS, and B2B brands.
About the role
As a Paid Media Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing various ad campaigns and coordinating the development of industry-leading creative assets.
This is an exciting opportunity within a smaller agency, as you will be working directly with the founder. With significant growth plans for the year ahead, this role is ideal for a driven individual looking to join an agency in its early stages and contribute to building out processes and systems.
Your day-to-day would look like:
- Communicating with clients to understand their businesses in depth and extract key Unique Selling Proposition (USP), benefits & pain points of customer avatars.
- Providing input on User-Generated Content (UGC) ad strategy.
- Staying up to date with the latest best practices and strategies in paid media.
- Managing Meta, Tiktok, Google and Youtube ad campaigns.
- Briefing and can show examples of growing/scaling brands in the past with paid ads.
Responsibilities:
- Managing client relationships through day-to-day communication.
- Setting strategies throughout the onboarding process and planning the tactical implementation.
- Identifying areas of improvement and troubleshooting strategies/client accounts.
- Overseeing project management for required assets such as landing pages and other ad-related materials.
- Providing strategic direction for ad copy to align messaging with each campaign stage.
- Driving performance and growth across SEM and social for clients, providing sound strategy and insights backed by data.
- Creating, optimizing, and presenting clear and detailed monthly reports on performance.
- Developing case studies based on campaign performance and optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date with major changes in the paid media landscape to ensure clients are informed and the team remains ahead.
- Assisting the founder in improving processes and driving standards.
- Taking accountability for performance across all client accounts, maintaining professional standards.
Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience in end-to-end ad management, including strategy and execution of technical ad campaigns, with experience in platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Youtube and Google.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing, and ad campaigns.
- Account management experience is a plus, along with the ability to build rapport with clients and develop long-term, trusting relationships.
- Proficiency in Meta, Tiktok, Youtube and Google ad tools is required.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress (WooCommerce) and Shopify is a plus.
- Highly organised and process-driven.
- Customer-service oriented, with the drive to exceed client expectations based on ad execution.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
- A quick learner.
