Work hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Sydney time
Compensation range: US$1,600-US$1,900/month

About the role
The Inventory Manager plays a key role in ensuring seamless inventory management across global stores. This role supports replenishments, stock allocations, and inventory accuracy while collaborating closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner to maintain stock integrity. The ideal candidate will assist with stock audits, reporting, and product strategy execution, while also supporting visual merchandising initiatives. Acting as the key point of contact for store teams, this role requires strong stakeholder management and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to inventory control and product coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the best quality inventory management across the network of global stores, taking responsibility for replenishments and allocations.
- Use your critical thinking and curiosity to understand inventory adjustments/variances, working closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner to ensure excellent stock integrity.
- Maintain exceptional inventory records, ensuring regular audits and updates are completed so that the client always knows where their stock is and when.
- Assist in the Stocktake process alongside the Senior Merchandise Planner.
- Support the delivery of the Product Strategy by delivering key reporting on a regular basis.
- Input key data into the global Point of Sale Systems.
- Assist in VM support, including the creation of Planograms and range presentations for new products launches or campaigns.
- Be the face of the Product Team, working closely with the Store teams in managing any queries or needs that come through to the Product Team.
- Demonstrate phenomenal stakeholder management and relationship building both cross-functionally and with store representatives, communicating via phone and email professionally and with a curious and collaborative mindset.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Inventory Manager or any other relevant role, preferably in an eCommerce/retail industry
- Proficient in Excel with good numerical and analytical skills
- Competent in Google G Suite applications or other similar system
- Retail knowledge & experience working with POS and inventory management systems
- Proficient in Netsuite and Looker
- High level of attention to detail and experience working with large data sets
- Good business acumen
- Confident and clear communicator with strong organisational & time management skills
- Able to work independently and be part of a global, tightknit team
