Position: Accounting Specialist/Senior Bookkeeper
Work hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm UK time
Compensation range: US$1,500 - US$2,000/month

About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist/Senior Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes for our client based in the UK. This role is integral to ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency across multiple transactions and platforms, with a focus on eCommerce & retail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage invoices efficiently.
• Execute accurate pay runs and payroll processing.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Perform bank payment reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Conduct ad hoc accounting analyses to support decision-making.

Requirements:

•  Minimum 5 years of full-time bookkeeping experience with international clients.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Xero, Dext, ApprovalMax, and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong ability to handle large volumes of transactions with accuracy.
• Extensive knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in the eCommerce/retail sector is highly preferred.
  
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
