Compensation range: AU$3,000 - $3,500/month

About the role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to execute our organic social media and marketing activity, with a strong focus on social content and community engagement. This is an execution-focused role supporting end-to-end delivery across content publishing, short-form video editing, scheduling, engagement, UGC coordination, and reporting.
This role will act as a skilled executor while collaborating closely with the onshore Marketing Manager, who will lead strategy and creative direction. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in content creation and empathetic to the interests and needs of the midlife female audience.
Responsibilities:
A. Short-Form Video Editing & Content Production
Editing short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms, including cutting long-form content into multiple clips.
Creating strong hooks, adding captions, subtitles, transitions, and visual enhancements to boost engagement and retention.
Optimising pacing, rhythm, and clarity to maintain viewer attention.
Producing platform- and ad-ready versions of videos, including formats suited for Meta advertising.
B. Design & Static Content
Creates static posts, carousels, and infographics using Canva.
Producing educational graphics such as ingredient highlights, skincare benefits, and product breakdowns.
Ensuring all visuals align with the brand’s visual identity and premium positioning.
C. Social Media Execution
Scheduling and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms while managing the monthly content calendar.
Coordinating posts with promotions, launches, and campaigns, and ensuring accuracy through proofreading.
Tracking post performance and identifying optimisation opportunities, including best posting times, formats, and engagement improvements.
Ensuring UGC and community content is posted correctly.
Supporting the use of testimonials, before-and-afters, and spa content within the feed.
D. UGC, Influencer & Collaboration Support
Managing the end-to-end handling of UGC, including tracking submissions, organising assets, preparing content for publishing, and ensuring brand-compliant use across organic and paid channels.
Assist with coordination of UGC creators, influencers, and ambassadors.
Support giveaways and collaborations (logistics and tracking).
E. Performance Tracking & Optimisation
Compiling monthly social performance snapshots and reviewing engagement, reach, and organic post performance.
Identifying high-performing hooks, formats, posting times, and key engagement trends.
Supporting basic A/B testing and sharing insights and recommendations with the Marketing Manager to optimise content.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within the Western eCommerce or premium brands in the skincare industry.
General awareness of skincare, beauty, and wellness, including familiarity with common product types, routines, and industry language
Strong experience in end-to-end short-form social video editing.
Proven ability to create polished, engaging content for multiple platforms.
Proficiency using CapCut and Canva for video and design.
Proficiency in using the different platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack, Meta Business Suite, Later, and Microsoft Teams.
Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and engagement mechanics.
Experience preparing content for Meta ads, including ad-specific video edits.
Understanding of how organic social and UGC drive brand growth and eCommerce funnels.
Proficiency using Google Workspace tools and comfortable using ChatGPT or AI tools for workflow support.
Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
