About the role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of client relationships and oversee the successful execution of email marketing campaigns. This role requires a strategic, data-driven professional who excels in managing multiple accounts, optimizing workflows, and driving business growth through exceptional service and analytical insights.
As the primary point of contact for 8–10 clients, you will manage the overall workflow while supporting 2–3 Email Specialists in delivering high-impact email campaigns. Leveraging Klaviyo and other marketing tools, you will analyze performance data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to clients.
Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support and guide clients through strategic roadmaps, leveraging our Email Growth Plan (EGP) framework.

Project Coordination & Delivery:
- Oversee client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with defined goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage the overall workflow and support Email Specialists in campaign execution.

Scope & Expectation Management:
- Define project requirements, manage scope changes, and set realistic deliverables to align with client expectations.
- Ensure email marketing campaigns are executed efficiently and meet performance benchmarks.

Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline processes to improve project execution and overall efficiency.
- Implement at least two major workflow improvements annually to enhance delivery and performance.

Risk Identification & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively assess and mitigate potential risks in project execution.
- Successfully resolve 95%+ of project risks before escalation.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and delivery, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee coordination between Email Specialists, designers, and automation teams to maintain workflow efficiency.

Client Communication & Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to clients, addressing concerns and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze Klaviyo data to identify performance trends, understand the story behind the numbers, and present insights to clients.

Revenue Growth & Account Expansion:
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the client's services to existing clients.
- Develop and implement account expansion strategies that align with client needs.

Campaign & Flow Coordination:
- Collaborate with design, email specialists, and automation teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and workflow management.
- Monitor key email marketing metrics such as revenue, click-through rates, and open rates to optimize performance.
Requirements:

Client & Account Management: Strong ability to manage and nurture client relationships and expectations effectively.
- Maintain an NPS score of 85+ and a client retention rate of 90%+.

Project Management: Expertise in overseeing and coordinating multiple projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Ensure 95%+ of client projects meet agreed deadlines and budgets.

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to clearly articulate project goals, updates, and challenges to clients and internal teams.
- Maintain regular, structured communication with all assigned clients.

- Proactively resolve 95%+ of project risks before escalation.

Process Improvement: Skilled in implementing and optimising workflows for improved project execution.

Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in an email marketing agency managing multiple client accounts.
