Position: SEO Specialist Support
Work hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Australian Time
Compensation range: $1,500 - $1,700/ month

About the role
The SEO Specialist Support plays a vital role in delivering client SEO services by executing key optimization tasks that drive measurable results. This role works closely with the SEO & Copywriting Team Leader and the broader delivery team to implement on-page, technical, and authority-building SEO strategies with accuracy and efficiency.
The SEO Specialist Support must be highly dependable, possess strong written English skills, and have a foundational understanding of SEO best practices. They will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality work across multiple clients, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-intent search terms aligned with client objectives.
- Analyse competitors to uncover content, on-page, and authority-building
opportunities. - Optimise metadata, internal linking, image alt-tags and structured data to improve rankings and engagement.
- Execute local SEO strategies including but not limited to Google Business Profile optimisations and securing citations.
- Support technical audits by identifying and resolving speed, indexation, and
crawlability issues. - Assist with content strategy by identifying relevant topics and search intent.
- Research and secure opportunities for Digital PR including link intersect analysis and media research.
- Utilising the structured and efficient processes in place for SEO as outlined by the internal team.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in SEO execution.
- Proficiency in Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal, Surfer SEO, Muck Rack, and other common SEO tools.
- Dependable and consistent delivery of assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.
- High standard of written English across all content, metadata, and communications.
- Application of white-hat SEO best practices across all optimizations, as outlined by the SEO Strategist.
- Proactive communication (via Slack, Tempo, and Email) with the SEO & Copywriting Team Leader to flag any roadblocks or questions.
- Positive feedback from internal team members regarding quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Ensure company processes are executed efficiently and consistently to maximize capacity utilization.
- Completing tasks in a timely manner with a primary focus on quality of output.
